    Dear Jesse,

I am a masters in public policy student at the Harvard Kennedy School and I am doing my final paper for my Housing and Urbanization class on the Winter Hill Neighborhood Plan. Earlier in the year we wrote about the history of our chosen neighborhoods, mine being Winter Hill, and as our final project we are tackling a current issue that is salient to the neighborhood.

As the Alderman for the Winter HiIll neighborhood you would certainly be able to help me gain some insight for my paper. I would love to set up a call with you sometime this week to talk about the Winter Hill Neighborhood Plan, what your feelings are about it and in general what you envision for the future of Winter Hill. If your schedule is tight, I am also happy to simply send along questions by email.

Thank you so much for your time,

    Dee Yusuf

    Hi Jesse,

Congratulation and best wishes on becoming Alderman of Ward 4!

The Blessing of the Bay Boat House and Park are being looked at by the city of Somerville for a redesign to improve public access and environmental quality.

Groundwork Somerville and the Mystic River Watershed Association are taking the lead in the effort but we are working diligently to engage the community in the process.

As the new alderman for ward 4 we though it important to reach out to you. Would you be available for a chat by phone or perhaps even a walk along the waterfront to provide an update on the effort?

Please contact me at your earliest convenience and we can set up a time to chat about the winter plans for the redesign effort.
